Twenty-plus years in this industry taught me something hard: most people climb the ladder but forget what it felt like to be at the bottom. I started there. Entry-level, no shortcuts, learning every detail the slow way—the real way. When the time came to start something of my own, I knew exactly what felt wrong about how businesses treat their people and their clients.

Ten years ago, I started this business in Southeast Michigan with one simple rule: do the work like it matters. Not because you're being watched. Because it does. Those early projects weren't glamorous. Some were uncomfortable. We made mistakes, fixed them, and learned what builds trust. We learned that families remember how they felt when you showed up, not just what you charged.
